Access and water conditions are different questions
The park's beach listing establishes public access. It does not certify water temperature, bacteria levels, or a lifeguard schedule. King County says routine bacteria testing has ended for the season and will resume in mid-May (the year printed on the county page appears out of date). Check posted notices and park alerts.
Park alerts when checked
The park page showed a notice of increased road congestion from early October to November 30, 2026 because of a road closure on NW Sammamish Road, with the park staying open, and a partial closure of the Issaquah Creek and Tibbetts Creek bridges. The page also links a Winter Schedule for off-season changes.
