Day use and camping are different charges
NPS says entrance and camping fees both apply at Lone Rock. The entrance fee is listed on the park fees page. NPS's campground record for Lone Rock Beach Primitive Camping Area lists $14 per vehicle per night in addition to entrance fees, no designated campsites, a maximum of two vehicles per site, quiet hours 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and no reservations; its pay.gov link pays the camping fee only.
Do not turn a launch restriction into a beach closure
The 2026 superintendent's compendium closes launching of motorized vessels at Lone Rock from November through April. That restriction does not state that general beach access is closed.
