Park hours are not beach hours
The state publishes August day-use hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the park. North Carolina also says swimming areas and bathhouses are seasonal and hours vary with staffing, so those park hours cannot be used as a beach schedule.
Why other Lake Norman beaches are not in the launch set
Ramsey Creek and Beattys Ford were officially closed for low water during verification. A static guide could preserve a closure after the manager reopens them, so they remain out until a reliable status-maintenance process exists.
